"SEVEN" Confirmation Spring Session 2022
Open to...
Young people in Grade 8 through to Grade 12 
in the 2021-2022 school year are invited to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation in the spring of 2022. Applications are now being accepted and will be reviewed in March/April 2022. Apply below! Application needs to be filled in by the teenager applying for Confirmation together with adult assistance.

What is the process at NCWC Family of Parishes?
In spring 2022, there will be a parent & candidate kick-off meeting (details forthcoming). This is an opportunity for both teens and parents to hear about the entire experience and ask any questions you may have about preparing for Confirmation. You'll get an email with details by March 31st.

 I already have a sponsor.
Wait! Thinking about a sponsor already? Information about choosing a sponsor will be given at the kick-off evening, so please do not ask someone to be your Confirmation sponsor before this meeting.
 We will prepare in small groups.
Candidates will be put into small groups of six to eight students which will be led by leaders, trained for this ministry. More than just learning about Confirmation, over the course of 7 weeks, you will have an awesome opportunity to have fun and explore faith with others your own age.
New to the application process.
The teen will need to record a short video (3-5 minutes-due April 15th,2022) in response to one of these two questions:

• Option 1: What type of Christian man or woman do you envision being in the future?
• Option 2: What steps do you need to take to get closer to God?

There are three requirements for application... a current profile picture of the candidate, the short video as above
(due April 15th,2022), and the teen's baptismal certificate. We recommend you scan or take a photo before beginning the application. If you do not have a copy of the baptismal certificate, please contact the parish of your baptism. Please scan a picture and upload the video to an email and send to ccoyle@dol.ca.
